Our Curriculum

Lesson plans are created and built around the following three curriculums and incorporates literacy, mathematics, science, art, social skills and physical development.  In addition to our structured lesson plans, our classroom learning centers are accessible to our children all day and encourages the same elements of learning.  Our curriculum is designed to assist young learners blossom into confident students and leaders.  Little Angels Academy offers a rich variety of projects and activities that build upon established foundations for learning that stimulate educational and social development.  We partner with our parents to build our children's desire to learn and explore while celebrating with our families when reaching developmental milestones.  Our teacher's assess each child's development throughout the year to guide lesson planning, teaching methods, and partnerships with our families.  Parents will be kept well informed of their child's learning experience and development through routine communication.  Our program prepares children for kindergarten and beyond, with the skills and confidence needed for a lifetime of academic success.

Little Angels Academy implements the Creative Curriculum in our program.  The Creative Curriculum System for preschoolers is a comprehensive researched based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.  

Handwriting Without Tears is a handwriting curriculum that teaches children proper handwriting habits at an early age that carries throughout their life.  The curriculum emphasizes the importance of early learning in the preschool years as it relates to literacy and math, and highlights a multi-faceted approach that encompasses all developmental domains.  Handwriting Without Tears uses fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate instructional methods to enable children to master handwriting as an automatic and comfortable skill.  This curriculum uses hands on activities and multisensory teaching strategies that build proper handwriting habits at an early age.

Mother Goose Time is a early learning curriculum that uniquely weaves 33 research based skills into playful games and projects.  This is a flexible system that integrates themes, disciplines, and domains.  Mother Goose Time uses themes to invite children to explore new ideas with an interdisciplinary multisensory approach to learning.
